Inspirational and Motivational Story of Bread And Butter

It takes a warm slice of bread to soak in the butter put on it. It doesn't matter how much butter we put, but if the bread is cold the butter will stay on the surface only. Bite into it and you will see how different the two taste! It is the same bread and same butter but a world of difference in taste.

And so is it with the 'blessings' in our life.
It doesn't matter how abundantly HE blesses us, but if we are not gracious in our acceptance, how can those blessings ever make a change in our lives? Pretty much like the layer of butter on cold bread, blessings not graciously and wholeheartedly embraced continue to remain on the periphery and fail to make any positive change in life.

Acknowledge your blessings.
Accept with gratitude.
Keep your bread warm.
Let the butter soak in.
Bathed in the richness of this butter, every bite, every morsel then is bound to taste divine.
List ur blessings though countless, you have a lot to be thankful and grateful for

East Berlin and West Berlin - Inspirational story

Loved this: Back in the days when Germany was divided, a huge wall separated East and West Berlin.   One day, some people in East Berlin took a truck load of garbage and dumped it on the West Berlin side.🙄  The people of West Berlin could have done the same thing, but they didn't. Instead they took a truck load of canned goods, bread, milk and other provisions, and neatly stacked it on the East Berlin side.☺  On top of this stack they placed the sign:   *“EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS"*  How very true! You can only give what you have.  What do you have inside of you? Is it hate or love?  Violence or peace?  Death or life? Capacity to build or Capacity to destroy?  What have you acquired over the years?  *"EACH GIVES WHAT HE HAS"*  Think about it!☺

Interesting Story and Lesson on Two Seas - Dead Sea & Sea Of Galilee

*Here is an interesting story on two seas with some interesting lessons.* I had heard of Dead Sea in school. No one ever told me this side of the story. You may find it interesting. I look forward to your perspective. A tale of Two Seas   Sitting in the Geography class in school, I remember how fascinated I was when we were being taught all about the Dead Sea. As you probably recall, the Dead Sea is really a Lake, not a sea (and as my Geography teacher pointed out, if you understood that, it would guarantee 4 marks in the term paper!) It’s so high in salt content that the human body can float easily. You can almost lie down and read a book! The salt in the Dead Sea is as high as 35% - almost 10 times the normal ocean water. And all that saltiness has meant that there is no life at all in the Dead Sea. No fish. No vegetation. No sea animals. *Nothing lives in the Dead Sea.* And hence the name: Dead Sea. While the Dead Sea has remained etched in my memory, I don't seem to ...

Dust If You Must - Ladies this is for each & every one of you.

Ladies this is for each & every one of you. Remember ... a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it. 'A house   becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture .'    I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over'.  Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun! NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home . They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun.  If you  haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice. Life is short. Enjoy it!  Dust if you must  ........    but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a  seed, ponder the difference between want and need?  Dust if you must,   but th...
