These People You Must Forgive

There are four people you need to forgive if you are serious about changing your life and learning how to live in the now. 1. Your Parents The first are your parents, living or dead. You must absolutely forgive them for every mistake they ever made in bringing you up. At the very least, you should be grateful to them for giving you life. They got you here. If you are happy to be alive, you can forgive them for everything else. Never complain about them again. By not forgiving your parents, you remain forever a child. You block your own chance to grow up and become a fully functioning adult. You continue to see yourself as a victim. Even worse, you keep your negative feelings of inferiority and anger alive. If your parents die without your having forgiven them, it can bother you for the rest of your life. 2. Your Partner (Spouse or mate) The second person or persons you must forgive are the people from your marriages or relationships that didn’t work out. These intimate relat...

The Donkey Who Would Sing

The Donkey Who Would Sing A wild donkey once lived in the woods. He had no friends and lived all alone. One day a jackal passing by saw the donkey. He went up to the donkey and said, “What is the matter? Why do you look so sad my dear fellow?" The donkey turned to the jackal and said, “I have no friends and am very lonely." “Well, don't worry. I will be your friend from today," the jackal comforted him. From that day, the donkey and jackal became very good friends. They were always seen together. One moonlit evening, the jackal and the donkey were strolling through the woods. It was a cool and pleasant evening. As they walked on, they came to the outskirts of a village bordering the woods. Dust If You Must - Ladies this is for each & every one of you.

Ladies this is for each & every one of you. Remember ... a layer of dust protects the Wood beneath it. 'A house   becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture .'    I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over'.  Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun! NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home . They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun.  If you  haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice. Life is short. Enjoy it!  Dust if you must  ........    but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cake and lick the spoon or plant a  seed, ponder the difference between want and need?  Dust if you must,   but th...
